Large-scale rallies in Gwanghwamun and City Hall in Seoul have been held for five weeks.

The "Emergency Action for the Right to Reject," a group of progressive civic groups, held a candlelight rally in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace this afternoon (30th) demanding the resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime and the independent counsel of Kim Gun-hee.

Near Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Jongno-gu, Seoul, a conservative group, the National Security Civic Association, held a rally to support the government and condemn the Democratic Party.

Participants of the progressive rally marched from Gwanghwamun to Myeong-dong from 6:20 p.m., but there was no conflict.

The police urged people to use public transportation and check real-time traffic information in advance as large-scale rallies in the downtown area cause traffic congestion every weekend.
