Daejeon Mayor Lee Jang-woo issued a statement this morning (4th) and expressed his deep regret for the confusion in state affairs.

Mayor Lee added that Daejeon City officials will concentrate on their work without shaking so that there will be no inconvenience to citizens, and the mayor will also do his best to protect citizens' property and lives.
Earlier, after martial law was declared, Daejeon Metropolitan City convened an emergency meeting at 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. today.
