Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun visited the Singapore Innovation Center, which marks the first anniversary of its completion, and encouraged executives and employees, saying the best moment has yet to come.
At a town hall meeting held at Hyundai Motor Group's Singapore Global Innovation Center yesterday, Chairman Chung said, "I know the passion and achievements that employees have shown over the past year."
Chairman Chung also stressed that although more challenges await next year, he can overcome these challenges and exceed expectations because he has a vision of "progress toward humanity."
President Jang Jae-hoon, who attended the town hall meeting, explained that the know-how accumulated through this will be a key asset for building smart factories, saying that key technologies essential for future factories such as AI, robots, and automation technologies should be developed and verified in advance.
Hyundai Motor's Global Innovation Center, located in Singapore's western Zhuang Innovation District, has built a multi-vehicle small-scale production system using advanced technology, producing Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and self-driving robotaxi.
