The prosecution, which investigates the emergency martial law incident, has started to secure the whereabouts of Yeo In-hyeong, the head of the South Korean military's counterintelligence command, who is considered a key figure.
The Central Military Court will conduct an interrogation of a suspect before the arrest of Commander Yeo, who is accused of civil war and abuse of authority, from 3:30 p.m. tomorrow (14th).
Commander Yeo is accused of sending counterintelligence troops and agents to the National Assembly and the Central Election Commission under the direction of former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun during martial law, and attempting to arrest key figures such as politicians.
The prosecution called in Commander Yeo twice to investigate, and conducted a raid on the counterintelligence command for five days from the 9th.
