While the vote to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol is scheduled to take place this afternoon (14th), large-scale rallies will be held throughout Seoul.

The "Emergency Action for Social Reform," which brings together the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups, reported to the police that it will hold a 200,000-member "Pan-national Candlelight Parade" on Capitol Boulevard in front of the National Assembly from 3 p.m.

Freight alliance, media union, and university student situation conference will also hold resolution meetings to call for the impeachment of President Yoon in various parts of Yeouido and join the Capitol Boulevard.

About 30 members of the government's "Special Youth Conference" decided to hold a press conference in front of the government building in Seoul, saying that the Yoon administration, which destroyed youth policy, trampled democracy with emergency martial law.

There will also be a counter-rally.

The "Korea's National Movement Headquarters," where conservative groups gathered, reported that it would hold a rally of 20,000 people in front of the Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Gwanghwamun from 2 p.m.

Police said congestion is expected in Yeouido around the National Assembly and throughout the city, and asked them to check traffic information in advance if they use public transportation such as subways and vehicles if possible.
