U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's national security team is talking to the Biden administration and Ukrainian leaders to find a way to end the war in Ukraine, NBC News reported.
NBC said Trump's advisers and Cabinet nominees, who have differing views on Ukraine, have yet to come up with a concrete peace initiative.
In an NBC interview on the 8th, Trump said he was trying to end the war, but when asked if he had spoken to Russian President Putin, he did not respond, saying he did not want to do anything to interfere with the negotiations.
In the midst of this, national security adviser Jake Sullivan of the Biden administration has spoken several times and shared relevant information with Representative Mike Waltz, whom Trump has named as national security adviser.
Trump's side is also continuing talks with the Ukrainian government, but has yet to provide any information to the Ukrainian government about any plans, sources said.
