When the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk Yeol passed the National Assembly, foreign media also quickly reported it.

Reuters, AFP, and the Associated Press released the news as emergency articles shortly after the impeachment motion was passed by the National Assembly this afternoon (14th).

Reuters said, "President Yoon's duties were suspended due to the approval of impeachment," and AFP/AP reported, "The Korean National Assembly voted to impeach President Yoon in connection with the invocation of martial law."

Foreign media have been paying keen attention to the results, reporting on the impeachment vote in real time since the afternoon.

Reuters and AFP reported in real-time breaking news from the position of the people's power that they will participate in the plenary vote but maintain the rejection party theory to the process of the impeachment bill being presented to the plenary session and the vote.

The British daily Guardian posted an article on the top of its website this afternoon saying, "President Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea faces a second impeachment vote," and detailed the parliamentary voting process.

The BBC set up a real-time news segment in the center of its website and announced the gathering of crowds in front of the National Assembly even before the vote.

The New York Times (NYT) also placed news on impeachment on the first screen of its website, while the AP and Reuters also placed news on impeachment at the top of its website, showing interest.
