As the National Assembly passed President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment bill, it now leaves only the Constitutional Court to decide whether to impeach him.
In the past two attempts to impeach the president, it took two or three months to make a final decision, and we are interested in how long it will take this time.

The first president to be tried by the Constitutional Court was the late former President Roh Moo Hyun.
On March 12, 2004, the impeachment motion, which was introduced under the leadership of the Millennium Democratic Party and the Grand National Party, passed the plenary session.

Since then, the Constitutional Court has dismissed the impeachment bill in 63 days after seven arguments and 11 deliberations.
[Yoon Young-cheol / Then-President of the Constitutional Court (May 2004): Order. The request for trial in this case is dismissed.
The impeachment bill against former President Park Geun Hye was proposed on December 3, 2016, and passed the plenary session of the National Assembly six days later.
The Constitutional Court held arguments and reviews for the next 91 days, and on March 10, 2017, the first presidential impeachment took place in constitutional history.
[Lee Jung-mi / Acting Constitutional Court President at the time (March 2017): We will sentence the order with the consensus of all judges. Order, dismiss the respondent presidential Park Geun Hye.]
President Yoon Suk Yeol is now waiting for the Constitutional Court's judgment.
As various issues related to martial law, including the deployment of the National Assembly's military, have already been disclosed, there is a possibility that President Yoon's impeachment will be decided sooner than expected.
