Yes, the government held a cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, and deliberated and decided on the president's request for reconsideration on the three bills, that is, the veto proposal.

With the people's power absent on the 19th, all three bills, including the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act, the Chae Sang-byung Special Prosecutor Act, and the Local Currency Act, which passed the National Assembly plenary session led by the opposition party, were included.

In his opening remarks at the meeting, Prime Minister Han criticized the continued abuse of legislative power by the large opposition parties, saying that politics is missing and the constitutional order of separation of powers is at stake. I'll listen to it myself.

[Han Deok-soo/Prime Minister: There are growing concerns that the National Assembly, the hall of the people's will, is dividing the public opinion by putting only partisan interests ahead of representing the interests of the people]

Han also reiterated the unconstitutionality of the bills.

Regarding the two independent counsel bills, the opposition unilaterally passed the bills, which had already been discarded, and transferred them to the government, adding to the unconstitutionality by obscuring the scope of the investigation.

The Local Currency Act, which mandates support from the state and local governments for local love gift certificates, also pointed out that there is a serious problem.

They feared that it would not only undermine the foundation of local government autonomy, but also infringe on the government's right to budget and cause the rich to become poor depending on local governments' financial capacity.

Prime Minister Han emphasized that the right to request reconsideration is the president's authority under the constitution, but it is also an obligation to enact unconstitutional laws.

The bill, which was processed by the National Assembly on the 19th and handed over to the government, is subject to a regulation that must be processed within 15 days, and President Yoon can veto it until the 4th of next month.

The president's office has already hinted at a veto policy, calling it an anti-constitutional and unconstitutional bill, so President Yoon is expected to re-approve it.If President Yun

approves all three bills, the number of bills that have been vetoed since taking office will increase to 24.
