The Busan International Film Festival, one of Asia's largest film festivals, will kick off today (2nd).
The opening film is an OTT movie starring Kang Dong-won, and popular works such as BTS leader RM's documentary also visit the audience.

The film that will open this year's festival is a historical drama produced and written by director Park Chan-wook and featuring colorful casts such as Kang Dong-won.
This is the first time that the Busan International Film Festival has selected OTT films as the opening film for Netflix to be released this month.
■'RM: Light People, Long Place'
It is also the first time to present a documentary of RM, the leader of BTS, who shows off
visual beauty.
K-POP documentary film was invited to the Open Cinema category for the first time, and all tickets have already been sold out.

■Netflix series 'Hell 2'
The OTT series 'Hell 2' directed by Sangho
will also be unveiled for the first time in the world in the field of 'On-Screen', which introduces off-screen platform works.
As such, the keyword that this year's Busan International Film Festival focused on is "popularity."
In the rapidly changing atmosphere of the film industry, we will not miss not only "Cinema Fil," which values cinematic quality, but also the general audience's attention.

A total of 224 films, including Kurosawa Kiyoshi's new film "The Path of the Snake" and "The Cloud," which are the winners of this year's Asian Film Awards, will make Busan's theater district.
Starting with this evening's opening ceremony, the film festival, which will anchor, will last for 10 days until the 11th.
