Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said that democracy and representative politics are to change if you don't do your job properly in the election, and if it's serious enough to not wait for the election.

In a campaign to support the by-election in Ganghwa County, Incheon, Lee judged the government during the general election, but he insisted that a "second government judgment" should be made because he is unable to come to his senses.

He then mentioned that if a child forgives and raises everything bad, it hurts people in the world and needs correction, which is interpreted as a statement with Ganghwa-gun in mind that it is a traditionally conservative area.

At a policy agreement ceremony with Democratic Party candidate Han Yeon-hee of Ganghwa County, Lee also pledged that local governments will support the damage to residents of the border area caused by North Korea's threatening activities and promote basic income for young people.
