Netanyahu lashes out at Macron... "shameful"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has lashed out at French President Emmanuel Macron, who said the country must stop supplying weapons to Israel.

In a prerecorded video released on May 5 local time, Netanyahu criticized Macron and other Western leaders for calling for an arms embargo on Israel, calling it "shameful."

"Israel will win with or without their help," he said, stressing that "it will fight until it wins the war."

"Iran has fired hundreds of missiles into Israeli territory twice," Netanyahu said. "No country will tolerate such an attack, and neither will Israel."

"Israel has an obligation and a right to defend itself and to respond to attacks, and it will do so," he added.
