Three people, including Kim Byung-joo, chairman of MBK Partners, who was adopted as a witness to the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Trade, Industry and Energy Small and Medium Venture Business Committee due to the management dispute, expressed their intention not to attend the parliamentary inspection tomorrow (7th).

An official of the National Assembly's Trade, Industry and Energy Committee said Chairman Kim, Chairman Jang Hyung-jin of Youngpoong Group, and Chairman Choi Yoon-beom of Korea Zinc submitted a statement of reasons for not attending the parliamentary inspection, citing overseas business trips or convening a board of directors.

Earlier, when Youngpoong Group joined hands with private equity firm MBK Partners to attempt to take over Korea Zinc's management rights, the Sanjawi adopted them as witnesses, saying it was necessary to take a closer look at the process.
