Prosecutor's Office "Cheongdam-dong Allegations of Drinking" Kang Jin-gu conspires by dividing roles with informants.

Prosecutors judged that Kang Jin-gu, former CEO of The Exploration, who raised the "Cheongdam-dong Drinking Suspicion," tried to induce cellist testimony by dividing his role with the informant.

When the cellist refused to be interviewed, his ex-boyfriend threatened him under the pretext of privacy, and Kang showed an attitude that seemed to prevent the revelation and encouraged him to participate in the interview.

The prosecution stated this in the indictment of Kang and cellist ex-boyfriend A, who were indicted on charges of defamation and attempted coercion.

According to the indictment, A sent a text message to cellist B, saying, "Tell me you've had a drink with the president by this week, or I'll end it with a crazy drama."

The prosecution explained that Kang then soothed him, saying, "I asked him not to drive like that, but I guess he couldn't control himself," and "Opening the door to truth will solve all the problems."

After that, when B did not open his mouth, Kang talked to A on the phone and said, "We should force him to open his mouth," and when A proposed a lawsuit against Sanggannam, he agreed, saying, "We should send a last-minute notice to pressure him."

Kang reported on The Exploration YouTube in October 2022 after being informed of the so-called 'Cheongdam-dong Drinking Suspicion' by A.

However, it was investigated that the allegation was made up by cellist B, and Kang reported it to B without confirming the facts.
