KT announced that it will achieve up to KRW 4.6 trillion in cumulative sales over the next five years by expanding the scope of cooperation by developing a Korean AI model with Microsoft.
KT CEO Kim Young-seop held a press conference today (10th) and introduced the cooperation plan with MS.
Based on the partnership agreement with MS, KT plans to develop a Korean AI model within the first half of next year and commercialize cloud services in the public and financial sectors by the first quarter of next year.
The two companies also decided to jointly invest 2.4 trillion won in infrastructure and R&D, and launch an AI cloud company in the first quarter of next year in the cloud sector.CEO Kim
emphasized that KT will grow into an AICT company with the best capabilities in the process of innovating into a 'AICT' company, and that the fruits will lead to a virtuous cycle of national competitiveness development.
