Director Kim Min-soo of the movie "Don't Touch Dirty Money" unveiled the process until the first director was born and expressed his affection for the work.
The press distribution preview of the movie "Don't Touch Dirty Money" was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall at 2 p.m. today (10th). The press conference, which followed shortly after the premiere, was attended by director Kim Min-soo, actors Jung Woo, Kim Dae-myung and Park Byung-eun, who directed the film, to talk about the work.
The movie "Don't Touch Dirty Money" tells the story of two detectives who get caught up in an unplanned accident after they touch "dirty money" dreaming of a complete crime to turn their lives around. It is the first production by director Kim Min-soo, who showed sensational storytelling with the screenplay of "Bulldom: The World of the Bad Guys" and "Kingmaker."
At the press conference on the day, director Kim said, "There are moments when I have to value my life, and I wanted to create a story that follows what choices the characters make every moment." In particular, regarding the intuitive title, "Isn't it too direct when the writer you worked with first gave you the suggestion? "I was deeply concerned, but I decided that the rugged, honest, and powerful title was the title you suggested because it matched the movie well," he explained.
It also talked about the process of casting actors with perfect harmony, including Jungwoo, Kim Dae-myeong, and Park Byung-eun.
Director Kim, who emphasized that what he had in mind the most while filming the movie was "The Ensemble," in which the relationship builds up and the story continues, said, "In the middle of writing the scenario, I thought it would be great if the three actors here could do it. Rather than choosing me, I actually smiled and hung on to it," he said.
He said, "It took more time than I thought to release it, but personally, it was a precious time to add a little more sincerity to the movie. I tried my best not to miss a single sound of wind and footsteps in every scene. I did my best to make it because I thought I had to make an effort, not a talented person," he said, asking for attention to the prospective audience.
The movie Don't Touch Dirty Money is set to be released on the 17th.
