65% of LH design and supervision conducted by the Public Procurement Service, and companies related to 'missing reinforcement' in the past

In order to prevent the recurrence of missing rebar during the construction process, the company that provided the cause of poor construction, such as missing rebar, was selected for LH apartment design and supervision bidding conducted by the Public Procurement Service.

Kim Jung-jae, a member of the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, said 65% of contracts for the design and supervision of construction signed by the Public Procurement Service at LH's request were contracted with the company that provided the cause of the poor construction at the time of the LH apartment rebar omission.

LH has been implementing a bidding method through the Public Procurement Service since April as a way to block all bidding irregularities, and has signed 23 contracts so far.

Among them, 15 cases, including 10 designs and 5 supervision cases, were ordered by companies that designed or supervised apartments missing rebar, lawmaker Kim said.
