Sangnok Police Station in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, is investigating a man in his 50s who stole 100 million won worth of precious metals from a gold and silver shop.
The man is accused of stealing a box containing more than 60 14k necklaces from a gold and silver shop inside a large supermarket in Sangnok-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, at around 6:20 p.m. yesterday (9th).
The police, who were dispatched after receiving a report from an employee, arrested a man who was staying at a nearby jjimjilbang in 5 hours and 30 minutes.
With most of the stolen items recovered, police will soon seek an arrest warrant for the man.
