South Korea-Japan summit "Sharing real-time information on North Korean missiles closely operated"

President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba have decided to continue to operate a "real-time missile alert information sharing system" against North Korea's missile threats.President

Yoon held a 40-minute summit with Prime Minister Ishiba on the occasion of the ASEAN Summit held in Vientiane, Laos, and gathered his intention, said Kim Tae-hyo, the first deputy director of the National Security Office.

At the same time, the two leaders agreed that Russia-North Korea military cooperation is illegal and that this threat is a threat to peace and security not only in Northeast Asia but also around the world.

They also assessed that cooperation between South Korea, the U.S. and Japan has been strengthened to an unprecedented level since the Camp David summit in August last year, and agreed to continue to work together to further strengthen the cooperation process.

Regarding exchanges between the two countries, we decided to promote exchanges between the people while actively conducting shuttle diplomacy, and specifically, we decided to speed up discussions to simplify the entry process in the era of 10 million visits per year.
