At Yangyang Hanwoo Farm, Rumfiskin...Four cases in a week.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said it was confirmed to be positive after a detailed examination of suspected rumpiskin symptoms was reported at a Korean beef farm in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do.

It is the ninth rumpiskine that has occurred in domestic farms this year, and four cases have occurred in Gangwon-do, including Yangyang and Goseong, in the past week.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs dispatched an initial quarantine team and an epidemiological investigation team to the farm to prevent the spread of Rumpiskin to control the access of outsiders, livestock and vehicles.

Among the 10 cattle raised on the farm, Rumpiskin-infected cattle will be disposed of in accordance with emergency action guidelines.

It has issued a 24-hour temporary suspension order for workers and vehicles at livestock-related facilities such as cattle farms, slaughterhouses, and feed factories in Yangyang-gun and five neighboring cities and counties, and plans to disinfect farms and surrounding roads intensively.
