Yesterday (10th), the National Audit Office of the Public Administration and Security Committee drew controversy when Hwang In-soo, director of the Truth and Reconciliation Committee, insisted that he would not disclose his face because he worked for the NIS in the past.

Although lawmakers were criticized regardless of ruling and opposition parties, Director Hwang was sent off after holding out until the end.

Let's watch the related video.

[Shin Jeong-hoon / Chairman of the National Assembly's Administrative Security Committee, Democratic Party of Korea: Your face is already open to the world, and if you search it on social media now, everyone, even if it's not an intelligence agency, can search for your face. Nevertheless, this insistent claim to wear a mask on the National Assembly stand is unacceptable for any reason.]

[Lee Sung-kwon / National People's Power; NIS law states that people must not divulge information related to national security acquired after retirement, for example, during the working period, but there is no such provision that people must wear masks and appear at the National Assembly representing the people.]

[Hwang In-soo / Director of Truth and Reconciliation Committee 1 : I can take off my mask at any time if parliamentary action is made to ensure that I am not disadvantaged and that I am not harmed by those who have helped for the Republic of Korea.]
