Ministry of Justice "Illegal Employment of More than 20 Foreigners, Unconditionally Accused"

2024.10.11 오전 08:45
The Ministry of Justice announced today (11th) a partial amendment to the "Entrance Criminal Accusation Regulations" that requires illegal employment of more than 20 foreigners or immigration offenders who have been employed for more than two years.

Previously, if an immigration offender turned himself in or cooperated with the investigation, notification was imposed, such as imposing fines instead of accusations, but the content is to strengthen control over this.

The amendment also stipulates that those who mediate illegal employment of more than 50 foreigners or have more than 10 foreigners who are falsely invited or appointed are subject to mandatory charges.

The Ministry of Justice explained that it is trying to clarify the standards of accusation and objective control procedures to strictly manage foreigners staying and secure predictability and legal stability in handling immigration offenders.
