Selection of the design of the new office of Gangwon-do Provincial Government...Completed in 2029

The draft of the new Gangwon-do Provincial Government building, which is scheduled to be completed in 2029, has been unveiled.

Gangwon Province held an award ceremony for the international design contest for the construction of the new office building project and selected the design work of the "Geonwon Consortium" as the winning work.

The design winning work, which attracted attention for its horizontal space arrangement, was highly evaluated by the judges for effectively expressing the relationship between the internal and external spaces.

The construction of the new Gangwon-do Provincial Government building, which will cost KRW 499.5 billion with a size of 114,000 square meters, is scheduled to begin at the end of next year and be completed by 2029.
