Yes, today, the last day of his tour, President Yoon Suk Yeol attended the East Asia Summit, the EAS, which began at around 12 o'clock from our perspective.At the meeting, President Yun

issued a hard-line message on North Korea's nuclear threats and illegal military cooperation with Russia.

He urged the international community to strengthen solidarity for a united response, saying that military cooperation between Russia and North Korea violated U.N. Security Council resolutions head-on.

At the same time, he explained to representatives of each country the positive meaning of the August 15 reunification doctrine for freedom, peace and prosperity in the region and asked for the support of the international community, including ASEAN.

President Yoon also stressed at the East Asia Summit that South Korea will play a responsible role and contribution to protect the regional order based on norms.

The East Asia Summit is the highest-level strategic forum in the Asia-Pacific region, involving the United States, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and India among ASEAN Plus (+).

At the meeting, discussions on Myanmar's civil war and territorial disputes in the South China Sea became the main topics.

In Myanmar, a representative of the junta was also present this year, three years after ASEAN banned the dispatch of representatives in a coup at the end of 2021.

After the East Asia Summit, all the multilateral meetings that President Yoon attended one after another will end.
