A man in his 40s who committed sex crimes by deceiving elementary school students, saying he was 20 years old, was also sentenced to prison in the appeal trial.
The Suwon High Court rejected the prosecutor's appeal and maintained the court ruling that sentenced him to three years in prison at the appeal hearing of A in his 40s, who is accused of underage agenda rape.
The court saw that the first trial decided the sentence in consideration of all the leaders, including A's post-crime attitude and agreement with the victim.
Mr. A, in his 40s, is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old victim who he found out through an open chat in January after deceiving him that he is 20 years old and winning favor with his pocket money.
Earlier, the prosecution demanded a 12-year prison term, saying that A committed sexual exploitation crimes against minors and was seriously guilty.
