"Personally, I thought it was a work where I was able to meet the hot energy in the coldest season while doing this movie. It's a pretty movie with that point. (One of the press conferences for the movie 'Heavy Snow')A movie containing the unique intensity of actors Han So-hee and Han Hae-in will come,

It is a movie called "Heavy Snowpiercer" that tells the story of a midwinter love between the two who are destined to be attracted to each other. The press preview and press conference of

'heavy snow' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at 2 p.m. today (11th). Director Yoon Yook-young, who directed the film, and actor Han Hae-in attended to talk about the work. Han So-hee was unable to attend the event due to personal reasons.

'Heavy Snowpiercer' tells the story of winter's love between the high-teen star 'Seol-i' (Han So-hee) and the aspiring actor 'Su-in' (Han Hae-in), who got close like fate, after the days when they were not honest with each other and went back to each other.

'heavy snow' was selected as the Korean competition category at the Jeonju International Film Festival and received love calls from film festivals around the world, including the BFI FLAIR Film Festival in London, the Asian Film Festival in Rome, the Hamburg International Film Festival, and the Asian CINERAMA Film Festival in Hong Kong. It is also a movie that is expected to be Han So-hee's screen debut.

The director said the film began filming in 2019 and was still filming until recently. Director Yoon said, "Even after the film festival last year and this year, we continued to shoot supplementary photos until a month ago when the release schedule was set. I didn't wait and release it based on the timing, but I've been working on it consistently," he said, explaining the preparation process so far.

Many outdoor scenes such as mountains and seas in winter appear in the movie. In particular, the winter sea acts as a metaphor to express the emotional lines of the two characters. The director said, "It didn't snow so much the year we filmed. However, the title of the movie is 'Heavy Snow', and there are scenes that require snow and can only be filmed in winter, so that has been delayed for a year."

The movie was divided into four chapters. It is divided into Yoon Seol, Suan, the sea, and heavy snow, and depicts the two protagonists from their school days to their reunion after becoming adults. Han So-hee and Han Hae-in, who worked together as the main actors, expressed the character's emotional line in detail, and at the same time, they also digested unconventional believers such as kissing scenes.

Han Hae-in said, "I remember being really excited to hear that actor Han So-hee would be with me on a snowy day. During the rehearsal, we met face to face and exchanged lines, and there were parts where my eyes and emotions came into my heart, and I almost cried," he said in the behind-the-scenes story of the shooting.

He also shared his concerns in the process of building the "Suan" character he played. He recalled, "In the scenario, there was an explanation about Suan during his school days, saying, 'He has freckles and has half-length hair and is wearing a funky school uniform,' and that part came to him attractively."

"When Su-An was young, he seemed to have a rebellious temperament to do what he wanted to do, and while working as an actor, he thought he had no choice but to look close to social femininity. I wanted to make such a change outwardly as well," he explained. As a result, he changed his hair to half-shaven during his school years, long straight hair during his acting career, and short bobbed hair at the end.

Above all, in this movie, the power of the character was strongly conveyed and attracted, and I wanted to express it well. Han Hae-in said, "I felt beautiful that the movie was rolling with the emotion and nature. I also found it attractive that both characters seemed vulnerable but strong and resistant."

At the end of the meeting, the director also talked about Han So-hee's reaction ahead of the movie's release. He said, "Actor Han So-hee is also worried about how she will watch it because she was acting when she was a rookie. Rather, I told him that the actor's acting was really good and that I wasn't worried," he said.

Lastly, Han Hae-in said, "It would be nice if you could see how the emotions of this movie and nature are connected, and I would like you to see how the character is also strongly connected emotionally. It was a work where I was able to meet hot energy in the coldest season," he said, asking for attention.

'Heavy Snowfall' will be released in theaters on October 23.
