As it is the first main performance, many citizens are taking steps.
The Icheon International Music Festival is designed to help citizens enjoy various cultures and arts as well as to be reborn as the cradle of talented people who will lead the future art world.
The core theme of this music festival is Young Artist, which focuses on promising artists who will lead the art world in the future.
The stage will continue for artists who continue their own artistic activities with true skills in various fields.
The main performance, which is held every time on a different theme from classical to opera, runs from today to the 19th.
The Opening Concert, which will begin shortly, will also feature the Icheon Turtle Play Stage, a traditional folk game where turtles are made from sorghum leaves and blessed every house.
Tomorrow is "Musical Night," and you can enjoy a variety of musical numbers loved in Korea, including musicals Notre Dame de Paris and Phantom.
It will also be followed by "Concerto Night," which is drawn from the music of Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky, two greats of the romantic era, and "Opera Night," which will be presented by leading opera singers on the world stage.
The earlier fringe concert featured traditional classical performances by the New Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and performances by pianists who won the Grand Prix given only three times in the history of the competition.
