A fire broke out at a waste treatment plant in Judeok-eup, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, at around 10:30 p.m. yesterday (14th) and was extinguished in about two hours.
There were no casualties, but some of the waste and factory warehouses were burned, causing property damage estimated by the fire department of 18 million won.
Fire authorities believe the fire started during the shredding of waste batteries.
