LG Energy Solution supplies batteries for large commercial vehicles to U.S. automaker Ford.
The total contract volume is 109 GWh (gigawatt-hour), which can fit between 1.3 million and 1.4 million general electric vehicles and more than 1 million electric commercial vehicles.
Through this, LG Energy Solution is expected to earn at least 13 trillion won in sales.
Ford is the top European commercial vehicle market player and the battery will reportedly be on Ford's next-generation electric commercial vehicle model.
