Jin Sung-joon, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea's policy committee, pointed out that the Pyongyang drone crisis is turning into a "chicken game" between the two Koreas, and that our security officials are only pouring out remarks that stimulate the other.

Chairman Jin said at the parliamentary audit meeting that careful management of the situation is urgently needed, and he urged both North Korea and the South Korean government to put down their confrontational attitude and go to the dialogue table.

He also stressed that it is best to create a state where there is no need to fight rather than fight and win, and that the government hopes to protect the public's safety first through sincere dialogue with North Korea, whether it sends a special envoy or through neighboring countries.

Earlier, the Democratic Party's national security situation inspection team also held the first meeting and said the crisis between the two Koreas was quite serious, and that the two sides opened channels and discussed the need for serious dialogue.
