Russia has defended North Korea day after day amid heightened tensions on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea blew up some sections of the inter-Korean road.

In particular, referring to the Strategic Partnership Treaty signed in June, he has made it clear that he will provide military aid to North Korea in the event of a conflict on the Korean Peninsula.

Speaking to reporters in Pakistan, the Russian deputy foreign minister raised the bar on South Korea.

Deputy Minister Andrei Rudenko claimed that South Korea's recent actions could be branded as provocations that harm stability on the Korean Peninsula and raise tensions.

A day earlier, a Russian foreign ministry spokesperson also criticized the provocation as a violation of North Korea's sovereignty, referring to the drone incident that infiltrated Pyongyang.

Rudenko went one step further and mentioned the strategic partnership treaty signed at the North Korea-Russia summit in June.

In accordance with the treaty, he said he would provide military aid to North Korea in the event of a conflict on the Korean Peninsula.

He stressed that any aggression against North Korea would take all necessary measures under Russian or North Korean law.

The Strategic Partnership Treaty, which elevated North Korea-Russia relations to a de facto military alliance, includes providing military aid immediately if either party is in a state of war.

Earlier, a Kremlin spokesman also presented the ratification to the Russian House of Representatives, stressing the importance of the North-Russia treaty.

The ratification will be processed as early as next month.

In the midst of this, it was detected that North Korea sent a large number of troops to the front line of Ukraine.

Ukrainian media reported that Russian forces are forming a battalion-level special unit of 3,000 people with troops sent by North Korea.

North Korean troops are said to have been deployed to Kursk, Russia, where Ukraine invaded in August.

Russia denies the rumor of sending North Korean troops.
