Ruling party "Suspected leak of list of party members, party audit to launch"

The People's Power will soon form a party audit committee to investigate the alleged leakage of the party membership list triggered by the alleged manipulation of public opinion by Myung Tae-kyun.

Secretary-General Seo Bum-soo told reporters at the National Assembly that he confirmed that Myung is a member of the People's Power Party.

He then explained that if there is a problem, he can take measures such as filing a complaint with the investigative agency.

He said that he had no memory when he contacted the candidate camp during the 2021 presidential election, adding that if he asked for a poll and the money did not go out of the camp, he would look at various possibilities, including informal requests, as there is a possibility of violating the Political Fund Act.
