Tesla CEO Elon Musk has made a huge donation for U.S. Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump.
Reuters reported that Federal Election Commission data showed that Musk donated $75 million and 100 billion won of our money to "America Pack," a super pack that helps former President Trump's campaign, in the third quarter.
America's Pack, which focuses on the race-state campaign that will determine the presidential election, has spent about $72 million of that.
The superpack was created by Musk, who was the only donor during the period.
Reuters said the superpack founded by Musk meant it played a big role in the ultra-tight election between former President Trump and his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.
Musk, who has voted for a Democratic candidate in the past presidential election, turned Republican in this presidential election and publicly declared his support for former President Trump in July.
