The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs predicted that there will be no major disruptions in supply and demand as the supply of cabbage and radish increases ahead of the kimchi-making season.

Vice Agriculture Minister Park Bum-soo held a meeting yesterday (16th) and said that cabbage and radish shipments will increase from the end of this month, and autumn cabbage will be shipped in earnest from next month.

However, he explained that he plans to control shipments by utilizing contract cultivation volume and government reserves in preparation for problems with supply due to bad weather.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs predicted that the supply of seasoned vegetables such as red pepper powder, garlic, onions, and green onions would be smooth.

In addition, fisheries products such as sea salt, salted shrimp, and anchovy fish sauce will be opened and supplied at a low price.
