On the 79th 'Police Day', police officers at the scene shaved their heads against the work guidelines improvement plan.

The National Police Workplace Council held a press conference in front of the National Police Agency today (21st) and criticized the recent improvement of work guidelines sent by the National Police Agency to front-line police stations as a dual surveillance system aimed at punishing police officers at the scene.

The head of the public-private organization and others argued that the National Police Agency will monitor them with GPS and force them to push patrols, which will reduce the self-esteem and morale of police officers at the scene and reduce the quality of security services.

At the same time, he called on National Police Agency Commissioner Jo Ji-ho to come up with practical measures to reflect the opinions of lower-ranking police officers and to create an environment where they can work safely.

A woman in her 40s, who was reported to have run away from home in August, was found dead in the back of a patrol car belonging to Hadong Police Station in Gyeongsangnam-do in 36 hours,
In the wake of this, the National Police Agency issued work guidelines such as requiring police officers at the scene to record the location of the patrol car and the reason for the stop every two hours and to report the status of work by radio.
