President Yoon's NATO Secretary-General's Call... "Close to Russia, Threat of World Peace"

President Yoon Suk Yeol spoke by phone with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutter and shared information on the deployment of North Korean combatants to Russia.

In the call at Rutter's request, Yoon said Russia's reckless military closeness with North Korea has fundamentally shaken the international order, threatening peace on the Korean Peninsula and the world.

The South Korean government then said it would never sit idly by and emphasized that it would actively take step-by-step measures in line with the progress of military cooperation between Russia and North Korea.President

Yoon added that he hopes to seek practical countermeasures with NATO and NATO member states in the process.

In response, Secretary-General Rutter expressed his hope for strengthening defense cooperation and security dialogue between South Korea, Ukraine and NATO to cope with North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia.President

Yoon said he would quickly send a delegation to share information and take steps to boost security cooperation between South Korea and Ukraine and NATO.
