[Issue Weather] Table Changing to Climate Inflation...the mild autumn weather continues

2024.10.29 PM 09:18
Hello, I'm Go Eunjae of Issue Weather.

The aftermath of the late heat that lasted until September is changing the autumn table.

A survey showed that seven out of ten people gave up making kimchi this year.

Tomatoes were missing from some McDonald's burgers as supply and demand for tomatoes became difficult following cabbage.

Also, the fish catch was halved due to the increased water temperature.

There is also a new term referring to this phenomenon.

It's so-called 'climate inflation'.

It refers to a phenomenon in which food prices rise due to reduced production due to abnormal climate.

However, the high temperature phenomenon that brought about 'climate inflation' continues even now in autumn.

Since last weekend, temperatures have continued to exceed previous years' levels.

Usually, the morning temperature in Seoul is 7 degrees and the daytime temperature is 17 degrees.

It's cool even during the day.

Recently, milder weather has continued, and autumn leaves are turning late.

In particular, the daytime temperature will be higher than today as the sky will clear up across the country tomorrow.

It will still be chilly in the morning and evening.

The sun will rise to 21 degrees in Seoul and 22 degrees in Gwangju and Daegu during the day.

For the rest of the week, it will be good to be active inland like this during the day.

However, in the second half of the week, rain and wind will blow around Jeju Island and the southern coast due to the influence of rain clouds left by Typhoon 'Kongrey'.

From next week, it will be cold again.

I hope this week is good to enjoy the cool weather.

It was an issue.
