Yoon made the remarks in a congratulatory speech at the 'Comprehensive Comprehensive Completion of Shin Han-ul Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2 and Groundbreaking Ceremony for Units 3 and 4' held in Uljin, North Gyeongsang Province today.President
Yoon stressed that the global nuclear power plant market worth 1,000 trillion won is opening, and that Team Korea's Czech nuclear power plant order will open the export path of our nuclear power industry wider.
He also added that he would supply enough work to the nuclear power industry by continuing the operation of existing nuclear power plants and promoting the construction of new nuclear power plants such as SMR, or small module reactors.
In addition, he said that the system should be revised so that nuclear power plants that have been confirmed to be safe can continue to operate by referring to advanced cases such as Britain and France.
