At least 19 people were killed when Israeli forces bombed a residential area in northern Gaza, Al Jazeera reported on the 30th local time.
Gaza's civil defense said late Tuesday that several houses in northern Gaza's Beit Lahiya were attacked by Israeli airstrikes, causing casualties.
The area is where Israeli forces bombed a residential five-story building on the same morning, killing at least 93 people and injuring dozens more.
U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller expressed concern at a briefing, saying it was a "terrible event with terrible consequences."
The U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights also called for a swift and transparent investigation into Israel, calling it one of Gaza's deadliest attacks in three months.
