In the first parliamentary audit of the 22nd National Assembly, 510 general witnesses have been adopted so far.

The parliamentary inspection, which began on the 7th, was completed except for the concurrent standing committees such as the Steering Committee, the Information Committee, and the Women's Family Committee, and the number of general witnesses was counted like this.

This is a significant increase from 189 last year and 163 the year before.

Business witnesses also stood at 159 this year, up from 95 last year, 144 the year before, 92 in 2021 and 63 in 2020.

Earlier, the Democratic Party of Korea applied for large-scale witnesses to each standing committee to investigate the suspicion of Kim Gun-hee, and the People's Power set former Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Hwa-young and others, who are imprisoned in connection with Lee Jae-myung's alleged remittance to North Korea.
