The Democratic Party of Korea strongly condemned North Korea's launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles in violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions, and asked our government to do its best to prevent the Korean Peninsula from falling into a crisis situation.
Cho Seung-rae, a senior spokesman, said in a written briefing that following the dispatch of troops to Russia, North Korea's successive military provocations are only a self-imposed measure to isolate itself from the international community.
He then pointed out that if North Korea wants to become a member of the international community, it should immediately withdraw its dispatch of troops to Russia and stop the act of hostilities that are useless.
He added that the government of Yoon Suk Yeol should also fulfill its primary responsibility to ensure the lives and safety of its people.
