Doctors Sent 'Suspected Illegal Rebate' in their Major's Days

2024.11.01 PM 07:24
The Nowon Police Station in Seoul said it sent doctors and pharmaceutical company employees from a university hospital in Seoul without detention on charges of receiving illegal rebates from pharmaceutical company salespeople when they majored in university hospitals.

They are accused of exchanging illegal honorariums for two years from October 2019 by paying for late-night snacks or company dinners instead.

The police believe that the amount of money that came and went at once amounts to hundreds of thousands of won or as many as millions of won.
