Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Kim Myung-soo visits the 2nd Marine Division, "Act immediately in case of enemy provocation."

The Joint Chiefs of Staff said Kim Myung-soo, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visited the Marine Corps' Second Division yesterday to inspect the military preparedness and encourage soldiers who are working hard to complete their missions.

At the meeting, Chairman Kim said, "North Korea is carrying out reckless provocations and low-level actions, such as spraying trash balloons and launching ICBMs as well as sending mercenaries to Russia," and ordered the government to act immediately and show trust and faith to the people if the enemy provokes.

He then visited the operation site of the loudspeaker broadcasting to North Korea and said that loudspeaker broadcasting to North Korea is a legitimate means to maintain our leadership against North Korea's spraying of garbage balloons, and emphasized the need to focus on the original mission without wavering.

In addition, North Korea's noise broadcasting to the South has caused noise damage to residents in Ganghwa Island, and the Marine Corps 2nd Division also urged them to actively cooperate with local governments to do their best to resolve public inconvenience.
