U.S. court allows lottery until election day of '$1 million Trump lottery'

2024.11.05 AM 07:39
The Associated Press and other foreign media reported that Tesla CEO Elon Musk will be able to announce the winners by the presidential election day, with a prize of $1 million every day and 1.4 billion won in our money to encourage conservative voter registration in the U.S.Judge Angelo Foglieta of Pennsylvania District Court

ruled that the event could last until the last day of the draw, 5 local time, in connection with a lawsuit seeking to stop Musk's prize events against voters.

The specific reason for the judgment was not immediately disclosed.

Musk's representative argued in court that the $1 million winner was not chosen by random lottery.

In response, Krazner's representative claimed the event was a "fraud designed to influence the election."

Earlier, Musk promised to randomly select a resident each day to give $1 million to a resident who signs a petition supporting Article 1 of the Constitution guaranteeing freedom of expression and Article 2 guaranteeing gun rights to encourage conservatives to register voters in rival states.

Eligibility to sign the petition was limited to those registered as voters in seven competing states, including Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

In response, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krazner filed a civil lawsuit against "America Pack" and Musk on the 28th of last month in Philadelphia District Court seeking to stop the payment of the prize money.
