The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that it has revised the enforcement ordinance of related laws so that the balance of enforcement of cooling and heating expenses of senior citizens can be used for corrosion expenses.
Accordingly, 10.7 billion won out of the budget for supporting cooling and heating and grain costs for senior citizens this year is expected to be used for corrosion costs.
Of the 69,000 senior citizen centers nationwide, 24,000 provide meals five days a week, and 60,000 provide meals 3.5 days a week.
