U.S. Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump has declared victory in the U.S. presidential election.
"I want to thank the American people for having the honor of being elected as the 45th and 47th president," Trump said in front of supporters gathered at the Palm Beach Convention Center in Florida, where he is located.
"We will help the United States heal," he said. "We will fix the border and fix everything about our country."
"I will fight for you, your family, and your future," he said, adding that he will create a "golden era of strong and prosperous America."
Former President Trump's declaration of victory seems to be based on the judgment that he actually won the victory by beating Pennsylvania, which was the biggest destination in addition to Georgia and North Carolina among the competing states.
In his speech, he expected at least 315 electors to be secured when votes were counted in all states.
On the stage of former President Trump's speech, his family, including his wife Melania, the vice presidential candidate, Senator JD Vance, and camp staff took to greet supporters.
