The Russian military is said to have distributed so-called "Army Identification Flyers" to distinguish between the North Korean military and the Russian minority.

According to a report by Radio Free Asia (RFA) on the 5th, the flyer obtained features four male faces with the title "Distinguish Army." From the man on the top left, it is written clockwise as 'Korean' (North Korean military), 'Yakutin', 'Bubyatin', and 'Buryatin', respectively.

It is believed that Russia distributed it to its troops to distinguish them from Russian minorities who are similar in appearance to North Korean troops sent to Russia.

According to Radio Free Asia (RFA), Jonas Oman, head of Blue-Yellow, a Lithuanian non-profit organization (NGO), said, "I received this photo through the Ukrainian military. It was distributed by Russian forces in the Kursk region."

Kursk is a battleground in western Russia bordering Ukraine, which has been occupied by Ukrainian forces for about three months since August. Recently, the U.S. State Department and the South Korean Defense Department said about 10,000 North Korean troops are stationed in Kursk.
