One body of a missing person from the Geumseong ship, which sank off the coast of Jeju Island, was first found 40 hours after the accident.

There were no additional missing people found in the continued night search, but the Coast Guard will also deploy deep-sea submarines as early as today (10th).

A coast guard ship enters the dark pier.

Scientists rush to board the ship, and soon a body is taken to a waiting coast guard vehicle.

The missing person of the 129-ton fishing boat Venus, which sank in the sea of Jeju two days ago, was identified as 64-year-old Lee.

Lee's body was found around 9 p.m. last night.

It was found around the hull under the sea through ROV, a remote-controlled underwater robot, a special naval equipment.

Even after lifting Lee's body, the Coast Guard continued its night search using flare, but no additional missing people were found.

The Geumgang ship's hull was confirmed to have sunk straight on the sea floor without overturning, but the search is not easy due to tangled nets around the ship.

The water depth also reaches 90 meters.

Once the barge arrives around this afternoon, the Coast Guard plans to remove the fishing nets connected to the ship and deploy deep-sea divers.

[Jeong Moo-won / Head of Security Safety Division, Jeju Provincial Coast Guard: Crane barges are not intended to lift the ship, but as you can see on the picture, they help remove fishing nets or deep-sea divers go in and work....]

With the discovery of Lee's body, the death toll in the sinking has risen to three, and 11 people are still missing.
