Ahead of the inauguration of the second Trump administration, the Biden administration is taking a step forward to promote policies for the rest of his term.

As soon as President-elect Trump takes office, he is speeding up to finish the ongoing policy by signaling a policy U-turn, and what will the result be?

U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken headed to Brussels, Belgium, for talks with NATO and the European Union.

The move is aimed at supporting Ukraine's defense before the launch of the new government, as the battle between Russia and Ukraine intensifies due to Trump's "war within 24 hours."

[Karyn Jean-Pierre / White House Press Secretary (last 8th): We will expand our support for Ukraine. We will continue to work to ensure that Ukraine has everything it needs on the battlefield to confront Russian aggression. This is definitely not going to change.]

For the first time, the Biden administration has imposed methane emissions taxes on oil, gas companies that emit methane.

It is a desperate measure to reduce methane emissions, which are the main culprits of global warming and have a greenhouse effect that is more than 80 times stronger than carbon dioxide, but there is a possibility that it will be discarded immediately when Trump takes office in January next year.

This is because Trump has pledged to abolish EPA regulations restricting fossil fuels, and he has selected former Representative Lizeldin, who has opposed environmental legislation as a New York congressman, as the head of the Environmental Protection Agency.

[Lizeldin / Former Congressman (Back in 2022): The state's ban on natural gas extraction should be withdrawn and new pipeline applications approved.]

It is also rushing to negotiate a semiconductor law that will provide $52.7 billion over five years to foreign semiconductor companies that invest in the U.S., including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and TSMC.

Susie Wiles, who has been named White House chief of staff, also said Trump would issue an executive order from his first day in office to reinstate his first term in office.

As the Republican Party is certain to secure a House majority following the Senate, Trump is expected to have enormous power from the beginning of his administration.

In addition to deporting illegal immigrants, it is expected to implement strong policy drives in all directions such as tax cuts and climate.
