The KAIST Mobility Research Institute, which studies advanced transportation leading technology, opened in Naepo New Town, Chungcheongnam-do, and has begun full-scale operation.
The research institute, located at the Naepo Knowledge Industry Center in Hongseong-gun, will promote advanced transportation technology research and start-ups, supporting startups, and attracting investment.
Chungcheongnam-do Governor Kim Tae-heum said he feels very proud of the opening of KAIST's research institute after six months of business agreement, and when science gifted high schools open in 2028, the research institute is expected to become a key base for the future transportation ecosystem.
